Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alberto Mingo made a kick off. Silvestre Chayo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Ósvaldsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. The Higuera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvestre Chayo should have stopped the shot. Silvestre Chayo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Chance Adams went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Racing Miami Futbol Club walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
