The supporters of Vila booed when FC Dundee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaido Värk didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sten Vonk in the 25th minute of play forced Vila's goalkeeper Elar Villems to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lembit Nurmela took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olev Naer. Olev Naer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. FC Dundee's Olev Naer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lembit Nurmela in the 35th minute of play. When Riho Lusik fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Dundee's protests and gave Riho Lusik a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th match minute, FC Dundee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riho Lusik to maneuver through the defense. Olev Naer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lembit Nurmela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Vila's Bert Anderson got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lembit Nurmela was the one to do the kick off. In the 60th minute, Janar Haas made a precise shot to the right of Olev Naer. FC Dundee's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ennu Nurmik kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Kalle Käbin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Olev Naer made a huge save. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Dundee's goalkeeper Olev Naer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Vonk in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elar Villems prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Vila's Olev Naer threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Janar Haas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ennu Nurmik in the 78th minute of play forced Vila's goalkeeper Elar Villems to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Vila getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Viljar Läänemets hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Martin Moonen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elar Villems showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Olev Naer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalle Käbin in the 83rd minute of play. Ennu Nurmik's late challenge caught a Vila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ennu Nurmik helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute of the match Lennart Ojarand sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olev Naer skillfully saved the ball. Robert Oppenheimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elar Villems having to interfere.
