The Sprite Star Football fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Paolo Marino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Fabrício Falcão made a huge save. After 15 minutes Sprite Star Football's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Frechoso who took care of the corner kick. In the 27th minute of the match, Paolo Marino got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabrício Falcão was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 29 minutes Sprite Star Football's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jaime Frechoso who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Valentin Banga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fabrício Falcão quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 32 minutes into the game, Lúcio Abraão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sprite Star Football's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Ituzaingó the free kick. Duarte de Sena came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Sprite Star Football's Monge Mong. But to his dismay, Monge Mong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Monge Mong made a kick off. Duarte de Sena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monge Mong in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Sprite Star Football's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Paskal came free, but Fabrício Falcão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabrício Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paolo Marino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duarte de Sena made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Oséas Freire sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramon Martino in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrício Falcão saved Sprite Star Football from getting behind. If Ramon Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Sprite Star Football defense, Ramon Martino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabrício Falcão. The Sprite Star Football fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabrício Falcão should have stopped the shot.
