In the 5th minute, Ciro Capuozzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eugenio Franceschelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 8th minute of play. Pesqueira City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Válbson Vidal in the 9th minute. Válbson Vidal made a great header on Pesqueira City's corner, it was just that Brembols's Eugenio Franceschelli managed to reach the ball for a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin da Fonseca in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Franceschelli saved Brembols from getting behind. Jeremias Orland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué Formas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Benjamin da Fonseca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eugenio Franceschelli. Brembols's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin da Fonseca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 22 minutes into the game, Válbson Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eugenio Franceschelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adriano Frasca got free with Jeremias Orland in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 minutes Pesqueira City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Josué Formas who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Josué Formas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland did a great save. Jeremias Orland stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janusz Grondzki's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. The audience was convinced that Su Xu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeremias Orland was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 34 minutes Pesqueira City's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Josué Formas who took care of the corner kick. Brembols's Josué Formas was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Jeremias Orland in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benjamin da Fonseca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Franceschelli having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin da Fonseca in the 39th minute of play forced Brembols's goalkeeper Eugenio Franceschelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Brembols's zone, Benjamin da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Franceschelli came out of the goal and Benjamin da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin da Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Franceschelli having to interfere.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benjamin da Fonseca was the one to do the kick off. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brembols's goalkeeper Eugenio Franceschelli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eugenio Franceschelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 66th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Adriano Frasca came free, but Jeremias Orland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Brembols:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pesqueira City:s goal. Pesqueira City's Oséias Sabóia was substituted for Doriva Zanette. After 72 minutes Brembols's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Válbson Vidal who took care of the corner kick. Jeremias Orland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Xu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Pesqueira City's Jeremias Orland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Xu in the 76th minute of play. Benjamin da Fonseca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Eugenio Franceschelli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eugenio Franceschelli came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca. But to his dismay, Benjamin da Fonseca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. With a little luck, Brembols's Eugenio Franceschelli got control of the ball when Benjamin da Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 85th minute, Su Xu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 87 minutes, Benjamin da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pesqueira City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benjamin da Fonseca in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eugenio Franceschelli saved Brembols from getting behind. In the 92nd minute, Brembols's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Válbson Vidal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Benjamin da Fonseca struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Eugenio Franceschelli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesqueira City. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pesqueira City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
