Froilan Sansone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ştefan Ifrim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mattijs Robijns went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Octav Cristea's late challenge caught a El coca fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rapid Bucharest's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Noguera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Noguera made a kick off. Fernando Noguera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Ştefan Ifrim made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid Bucharest's zone, Mattijs Robijns stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ştefan Ifrim came out of the goal and Mattijs Robijns tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jardel Van Landschoot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Ştefan Ifrim made a huge save. Florencio Osasun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Agulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisc Agulescu in the 60th minute of the match. Fernando Noguera scored 0-4 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ştefan Ifrim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
