After 4 minutes, Michelangelo Merganiotis made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexandros Sardanis. Li Kuan Hong hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Saruhan Vuralhan came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Breno Torres. But to his dismay, Breno Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd match minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Liviu Terzian to maneuver through the defense. After taking down the ball on AFC Ajax's corner Veniamin Kountouratzis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ludomil Ziomkowski quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Cléberson Munhoz hit a great ball. AFC Ajax made a substitution. Iason Stoltidis replaced Veniamin Kountouratzis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michelangelo Merganiotis in the 63rd minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Ludomil Ziomkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Renato Augusto notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of AFC Ajax's Saruhan Vuralhan. Saruhan Vuralhan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, AFC Ajax's Saruhan Vuralhan got control of the ball when Gustavo da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lambis Zacharatos hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
