When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Hernán Torrejón put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hélder Travassos. Hernán Torrejón might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hélder Travassos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernán Torrejón ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Ubatuba's Hélder Travassos got control of the ball when Hernán Torrejón tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Hernán Torrejón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hernán Torrejón came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hélder Travassos could save by the left post. After some careless play in the SiTomanBoy´s defense, Luiz Gustavo do Valle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silvano Mercurio. The SiTomanBoy´s fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silvano Mercurio should have stopped the shot. Hélder Travassos made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Hernán Torrejón sent off a good shot on target. Sérgio Vidal hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Luiz Gustavo do Valle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Silvano Mercurio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ubatuba's goalkeeper Hélder Travassos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Gustavo do Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Júnior Zanette had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ubatuba getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Guillaume Manaers hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Hernán Torrejón notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Ubatuba's Hélder Travassos. Luiz Gustavo do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Hélder Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Guerreiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Hélder Travassos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toninho Guerreiro in the 86th minute of the match. Silvano Mercurio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juvenal Paraibano in the 89th minute. SiTomanBoy´s's Silvano Mercurio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save SiTomanBoy´s from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd minute Verner Nord shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélder Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Nord, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
