ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Moura in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Peter Linkhorst managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManagerZone Crew's supporters rose to their feet, but Peter Linkhorst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hernan Firme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Brun in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Armstrong saved ManagerZone Crew from getting behind. The supporters of ManagerZone Crew booed when Unión y Progreso Tandil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Isaicu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Rene Erlantz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong. Patrick Armstrong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in ManagerZone Crew's zone, Cícero Moura stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Patrick Armstrong came out of the goal and Cícero Moura tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Peter Linkhorst fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Unión y Progreso Tandil were furious when Eric Isaicu was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Marcus Majewski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Marcus Majewski's late challenge caught a Unión y Progreso Tandil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Majewski helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Cícero Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Unión y Progreso Tandil's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero Moura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Armstrong breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute of the match, Saturnino Bertran got a very nice opportunity to score, but Patrick Armstrong was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Haroldo Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to ManagerZone Crew getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Peter Linkhorst hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Spante. 85 minutes into the match, Unión y Progreso Tandil's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Ununger came free, but Hernan Firme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, ManagerZone Crew's Patrick Armstrong got control of the ball when Rene Erlantz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hernan Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Linkhorst in the 93rd minute of play. After 95 played minutes ManagerZone Crew got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Spante. The ManagerZone Crew supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Unión y Progreso Tandil's performance. The match ended with a win for Unión y Progreso Tandil.
