Paiboon Permpol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano de Carvalho in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of Manchester United FC booed when Sheffield FC1857 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thani Mettarikanon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joachim De Jonghe kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Bruno Martini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kachakon Vibulpan, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Sheffield FC1857's Paiboon Permpol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Nesta in the 23rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Sayan Kitiwinit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Martini was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Manchester United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kachakon Vibulpan came free, but Bruno Martini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Martini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiattipong Pinijsuwon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Martini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thani Mettarikanon, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. If Luiz Fabiano de Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Sheffield FC1857 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Manchester United FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
