The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goal looked a bit too open when Radamel-Falcao García came free, but Alfredo Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Egídio Vaz in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernandez Villaelrriego saved Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ from getting behind. Alfredo Macedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radamel-Falcao García in the 23rd minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ got a freekick which was hit by Kemen Garantos. After 27 played minutes Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ got a freekick which was hit by Erramun Cepa. In the 28th minute, Vito Freire got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eustaquio Castorena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nova Era's Alfredo Macedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radamel-Falcao García in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eustaquio Castorena in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Macedo saved Nova Era from getting behind. The supporters of Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ booed when Nova Era was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vito Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Radamel-Falcao García made the kick off in the second half. After 58 minutes, Domingo Terres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ and the Nova Era players grew even worse after the yellow card. Domingo Terres kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Otsoko Zarza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alfredo Macedo. That made the score 0-1 in the 61 minute of play. Alfredo Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otsoko Zarza, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. The supporters of Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ booed when Nova Era was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jailson Leão didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Nova Era's goalkeeper Alfredo Macedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erramun Cepa. The audience thought a goal was coming when Radamel-Falcao García got free with Alfredo Macedo in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's Eustaquio Castorena got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Didi Vergílio in the 86th minute of play forced Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ's goalkeeper Fernandez Villaelrriego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th match minute, Nova Era was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Freire to maneuver through the defense. Alfredo Macedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radamel-Falcao García in the 94th minute of play. Ivo Silva hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Aʀɴᴏʀ Fᴄ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
