Newpi Academy's Dionisio Abaurre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jakob Söderman in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of Newpi Academy booed when Älta BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfred Bouma didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Per-Erik Bergfeldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Älta BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Erik Bergfeldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Abaurre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Älta BK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
