Mário Pedroso's late challenge caught a !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mário Pedroso helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albérico Vilaverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armağan Akabe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mateus Prates went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Ömür Oyman came free, but Albérico Vilaverde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armağan Akabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mateus Prates in the 43rd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Humberto Fonseca made a kick off. Albérico Vilaverde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömür Oyman, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ferid Sahadettin scored 1-1 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albérico Vilaverde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in SC Braga's zone, Ömür Oyman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albérico Vilaverde came out of the goal and Ömür Oyman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Fonseca didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71stth minute of the game Ferid Sahadettin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Braga's Albérico Vilaverde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Ömür Oyman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Braga the free kick. A collision led to !!KARAGÜLLE İMPARATORLUĞU getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Ömür Oyman hit a great ball. In the 77th minute Ferid Sahadettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albérico Vilaverde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihan Kadirsah in the 89th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Albérico Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Quinaz hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The score was 1-1 after 90 minutes, which forced the match into extra-time.
Albérico Vilaverde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ömür Oyman went, in the 102nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. SC Braga's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
