The corner ended in Boguslaw Kaider almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ac Milan's Laurențiu Zăvoianu did a great save. 10 minutes into the match, Ac Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Herbert Banaszak came free, but Laurențiu Zăvoianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ac Milan's Laurențiu Zăvoianu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Ac Milan from getting a goal against them. Laurențiu Zăvoianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Bilbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Kaider in the 25th minute of play forced Ac Milan's goalkeeper Laurențiu Zăvoianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Marjus Dragoti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ac Milan's supporters rose to their feet, but Marjus Dragoti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Gaxan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 played minutes Ac Milan got a freekick which was hit by Ingert Starova. 41 minutes into the match, Ac Milan's goal looked a bit too open when Isidoro Bilbo came free, but Laurențiu Zăvoianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Boguslaw Kaider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Zăvoianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurențiu Zăvoianu made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Leonel Criston sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute Marjus Dragoti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Gaxan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Ac Milan's Ilmi Duka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Generoso Gaxan. That made the score 3-1 after 56 minutes of play. Laurențiu Zăvoianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Bilbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Tedi Lulo might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Generoso Gaxan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tedi Lulo ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reynaldo Pinos got free with Generoso Gaxan in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 67th minute Boguslaw Kaider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Zăvoianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ac Milan's Laurențiu Zăvoianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Boguslaw Kaider in the 73rd minute of play. In the 78th minute Leonel Criston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurențiu Zăvoianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leonel Criston in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Laurențiu Zăvoianu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Laurențiu Zăvoianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Bilbo, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Banaszak in the 88th minute of play forced Ac Milan's goalkeeper Laurențiu Zăvoianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
