Farid Mondragon made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Hugo Coelho sent off a good shot on target. After the first half Andırın SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute of the match Andırın SK got a corner. Fluminense DF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Naci Tansu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Andırın SK's corner Türkeş Uğuralp fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Antônio Peres quite easily take care of the ball. In the 60th minute Hugo Coelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Farid Mondragon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Fluminense DF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Trigo to maneuver through the defense. Fluminense DF made a substitution. Liam Bray replaced Luo Wei Xi. Andırın SK's Batıhan Saik was substituted for Türkeş Akşit. Luiz Trigo hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A collision led to Fluminense DF getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Batıhan Saik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fluminense DF's Antônio Peres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Burhanettin Baykam in the 78th minute of play.
