The referee ignored 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s protests and gave Ovidio Cordaryal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th minute, Ovidio Cordaryal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, Al-Fajuth's Wilson Matorin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melquiades Gaztea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Al-Fajuth's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Justo Gomesano scored to the left of an out of position Édouard Mendy, making the score, 1-3. Édouard Mendy came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s Justo Gomesano. But to his dismay, Justo Gomesano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Teodoro Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Melquiades Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 37 played minutes 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ got a freekick which was hit by Prudencio Nel. A collision led to 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Teodoro Kismi hit a great ball. Teodoro Kismi charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Kismi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 41 played minutes 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™ got a freekick which was hit by Teodoro Kismi. After the first half Al-Fajuth were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Justo Gomesano made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Wilson Matorin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Gaztea. 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilson Matorin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. Al-Fajuth's Carlos Marinho was substituted for Teodoro Massa. Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justo Gomesano in the 63rd minute of play. Édouard Mendy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Modesto Cordareo made a great header on 刀モ尸ロ尺イﾉレロ イﾉG尺モら™'s corner, it was just that Al-Fajuth's Édouard Mendy managed to reach the ball for a save. Édouard Mendy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Truylos in the 68th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eliseu Alagoano got free with Melquiades Gaztea in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eliseu Alagoano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Melquiades Gaztea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Melquiades Gaztea made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Wilson Matorin sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Al-Fajuth's Jefferson Maia dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-5. Al-Fajuth's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
