But to his dismay, Ulises Manex quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rodolfo Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Ziguenza in the 23rd minute of the match. Ulises Manex in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santiago Cañizares, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Santiago Cañizares made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Ulises Manex sent off a good shot on target. Rodolfo Bertassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ulises Manex made a kick off. Santiago Cañizares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Manex, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. El ABUELO FC's Rodolfo Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save El ABUELO FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Remus Bălășoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santiago Cañizares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 69 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Manex came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to El ABUELO FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Isidoro Azevedo hit a great ball. Isidoro Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santiago Cañizares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Santiago Cañizares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Manex's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute, Isidoro Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Ulises Manex had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Santiago Cañizares. Nueva Chicago's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Manex was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. In the 85th match minute, El ABUELO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafli Leonard to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Constancio Navarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute, Celestino Fix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nueva Chicago's Diego Lugano got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, El ABUELO FC's Rodolfo Bertassi got control of the ball when Xalvador Pendones tried to sneak it across the goal line.
