Leonides Xacintu started the match with the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Dong Hui Yue in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Göktuğ Demir. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Xacintu in the 5th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Águila's goalkeeper Gustavo Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Göktuğ Demir fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's protests and gave Göktuğ Demir a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th minute, Göktuğ Demir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Club Deportivo Águila getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ricky Koppens hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Águila's goal looked a bit too open when Leonides Xacintu came free, but Gustavo Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonides Xacintu in the 17th minute of play. After some careless play in the 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB defense, Vedat Zübeyir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Atak Üke. The 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Atak Üke should have stopped the shot. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Atak Üke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Koppens in the 21st minute of play. Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kadri Aksoy in the 24th minute of play. Vedat Zübeyir could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Atak Üke made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vedat Zübeyir to make the kick off. Club Deportivo Águila's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Velis in the 52nd minute. Gustavo Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Club Deportivo Águila's Gustavo Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonides Xacintu in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonides Xacintu got free with Gustavo Guimarães in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Leonides Xacintu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Guimarães. Club Deportivo Águila's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonides Xacintu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's İskender Baki Üstüner was substituted for Vincent Kompany. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Atak Üke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Koppens in the 67th minute of play. Atak Üke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricky Koppens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Club Deportivo Águila getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Miguel Gallegos hit a great ball. Club Deportivo Águila's Ivan Viscarra was substituted for Herminio Florinio. In the 73rd minute of the match, Carles De Ligt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gustavo Guimarães was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 76th minute, Ricky Koppens ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atak Üke was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Ferhan Saik was substituted for Kadri Aksoy. 1stanbuL FootbaLL CluB's Atak Üke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricky Koppens in the 85th minute of play.
