In the 8th minute of the match Sport Club Mavericks got a corner. RÚSTICOS F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alejandro Adrio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudolfo Sarri in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xande Gay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Xande Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Eudoxio in the 11th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, RÚSTICOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Lopez came free, but Omar Cristofol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Xande Gay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Eudoxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norberto Cabanela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xande Gay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Di Persio in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, Conrado Sanches was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sport Club Mavericks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RÚSTICOS F.C the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Sport Club Mavericks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Sanches to maneuver through the defense. Xande Gay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Eudoxio in the 28th minute of the match. RÚSTICOS F.C's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Vachon in the 29th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Norberto Cabanela advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-1 in the 30th minute. 33 minutes into the match, Zézinho Lopez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Omar Cristofol. RÚSTICOS F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zézinho Lopez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norberto Cabanela in the 37th minute of play. Freddy Cordarrell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Cristofol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddy Cordarrell got free with Omar Cristofol in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RÚSTICOS F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Freddy Cordarrell scored to the left of an out of position Omar Cristofol, making the score, 2-1.

Omar Cristofol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddy Cordarrell in the 53rd minute of play. Sport Club Mavericks's Xande Gay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Di Persio in the 55th minute of play. Sport Club Mavericks's Emerson Tande was substituted for Conrado Sanches. Sport Club Mavericks's Pavlo Kotyuk was substituted for Alfredão Paiva. Omar Cristofol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zézinho Lopez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the RÚSTICOS F.C defense, Claudemiro Fragoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Cristofol. The RÚSTICOS F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Cristofol should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute, RÚSTICOS F.C's Norberto Cabanela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Norberto Cabanela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Claudemiro Fragoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Cristofol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
