With a little luck, Villa Roca's Eleder Goitia got control of the ball when Bernebe Sabugal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eleder Goitia made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Bernebe Sabugal sent off a good shot on target. Bernebe Sabugal came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eleder Goitia could save by the left post. Damian Tipinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erlin Haaland in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Liberto Sobrado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Tipinski. Gitarriu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liberto Sobrado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Villa Roca's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Lundström came free, but Eleder Goitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frankie Yankovich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Eleder Goitia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eleder Goitia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernebe Sabugal in the 23rd minute. Damian Tipinski came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Roca's Frantzes Ronquillo. But to his dismay, Frantzes Ronquillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Damian Tipinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liberto Sobrado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Villa Roca's Eleder Goitia got control of the ball when Frankie Yankovich tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gitarriu's Jane Gubanec got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Frankie Yankovich came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Gitarriu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frankie Yankovich couldn't finish the play. Joel Lundström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Bernebe Sabugal took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Eleder Goitia to make any attempt to save it. Felix Alacuart's late challenge caught a Villa Roca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felix Alacuart helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Gitarriu getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Felix Alacuart hit a great ball. Eleder Goitia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Lundström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Lundström to strike the kick off in the second half. Eleder Goitia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frankie Yankovich in the 51st minute of the match. When Gitarriu's Frankie Yankovich in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Lundström in the 64th minute of play forced Villa Roca's goalkeeper Eleder Goitia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute Gitarriu were awarded a corner. Vergaray Casero went to the cornerflag to take it. Felix Alacuart was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 69 minutes into the match, Villa Roca's goal looked a bit too open when Frankie Yankovich came free, but Eleder Goitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Bernebe Sabugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleder Goitia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 74 minutes Villa Roca's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Vergaray Casero who took care of the corner kick. Gitarriu's Vergaray Casero was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eleder Goitia in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, Villa Roca's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Alacuart came free, but Eleder Goitia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Frantzes Ronquillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gitarriu's Damian Tipinski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eleder Goitia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frankie Yankovich in the 80th minute of play. After some careless play in the Villa Roca defense, Frankie Yankovich kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleder Goitia. The Villa Roca fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleder Goitia should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Gitarriu booed when Villa Roca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erlin Haaland didn't get a good kick on the ball.
