Råbi FF's Vilhelm Pålsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oddvar Nordhus in the 11th minute of play. Epifanio Urre took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ren Bur. Ren Bur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 18th match minute, Råbi FF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Fransson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Rigoberto Pacifico managed to get in a good position for a shot. Råbi FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Pacifico was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ren Bur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rigoberto Pacifico was the one to do the kick off.
