In the 11th minute Berndt Hvitved shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri İhtiyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Fermin Dolfo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorato Ermengol was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Fermin Dolfo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Honorato Ermengol, 3-0. In the 26th minute of the match, Amedeo Biscotti got a very nice opportunity to score, but Honorato Ermengol was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Dolfo got free with Honorato Ermengol in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in La Naranja Oxidada SA's zone, Fermin Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Ermengol came out of the goal and Fermin Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fermin Dolfo took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Honorato Ermengol. Honorato Ermengol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 41 minutes into the match, Victor Cedro notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Yalapa's Basri İhtiyar. Basri İhtiyar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in La Naranja Oxidada SA's zone, Fermin Dolfo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorato Ermengol came out of the goal and Fermin Dolfo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Norberto Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Fabio Raphael made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Yalapa got a freekick which was hit by Tarmo Helm. The supporters of Yalapa booed when La Naranja Oxidada SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Gimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Ermengol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amedeo Biscotti in the 56th minute of play. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Ermengol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, La Naranja Oxidada SA's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı came free, but Honorato Ermengol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Ermengol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute of the match Yalapa got a corner. La Naranja Oxidada SA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Fabian Rosalio ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Amedeo Biscotti heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After having played for 71 minutes, Eustaquio Ramond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eustaquio Ramond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Honorato Ermengol didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlos Herrera went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of La Naranja Oxidada SA booed when Yalapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Herrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Naranja Oxidada SA's Honorato Ermengol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Herrera in the 97th minute of play. Yalapa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
