Hílton Magalhães came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Angola's Claus Wüllbier. But to his dismay, Claus Wüllbier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. André Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 7 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Sporting Angola's Jaramillo Amundarain fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Jaramillo Amundarain might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hílton Magalhães. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaramillo Amundarain ran back to his position shaking his head. Hílton Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaramillo Amundarain in the 9th minute of the match. Jaramillo Amundarain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hílton Magalhães having to make a save. Hílton Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaramillo Amundarain, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 16 minutes into the game, Jaramillo Amundarain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Hílton Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 19thth minute of the game Jaramillo Amundarain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botinho FC's Hílton Magalhães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaramillo Amundarain in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hílton Magalhães saved Botinho FC from getting behind. If Jaramillo Amundarain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hílton Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaramillo Amundarain in the 23rd minute of play. Jaramillo Amundarain took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hílton Magalhães. Hílton Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 28th minute Folke Flinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hílton Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Angola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaramillo Amundarain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Botinho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hílton Magalhães should have stopped the shot. Hílton Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaramillo Amundarain, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 41st match minute, Botinho FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Breckenfeld to maneuver through the defense. Hílton Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaramillo Amundarain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Botinho FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Modesto Primo was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Angola's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Sporting Angola's corner Modesto Primo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hílton Magalhães quite easily take care of the ball. After the first half Sporting Angola were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Hílton Magalhães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Ciro Coscia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Angola's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Coscia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hílton Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Botinho FC's Nilson Ferraz got a free kick in the 90th minute. Hílton Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Jaramillo Amundarain sent off a good shot on target. Hílton Magalhães made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaramillo Amundarain in the 94th minute. In the 94th minute, Jaramillo Amundarain reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hílton Magalhães. The goal made the score 0-10.
