This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Iason Plexioudas as he didn't even see the shot coming. After 46 minutes, Higinio Arias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NeW York CitY CopS and the Stream Sponsoren players grew even worse after the yellow card. Iason Plexioudas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Simon Britz in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

NeW York CitY CopS made a substitution. Gustavo Quentin replaced Higinio Arias. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Quentin to make the kick off.
