After taking down the ball on Montalcino SE's corner Leonardo de Godoi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Santo Marcos quite easily take care of the ball. Valdomiro Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amadeu Vergílio in the 7th minute of the match. Perivaldo Paiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Espiridion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Santo Marcos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perivaldo Paiva in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's goal looked a bit too open when Perivaldo Paiva came free, but Santo Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Rodrigo Batista made a precise shot to the right of Valdomiro Ferraz. Montalcino SE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Reinaldo Custódio got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Dino Nicolini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodrigo Batista could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Valdomiro Ferraz made a huge save. After having played for 29 minutes, Perivaldo Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montalcino SE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Perivaldo Paiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santo Marcos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Nicolini in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Nicolas Espiridion ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Santo Marcos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Santo Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perivaldo Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdomiro Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Batista in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO's Chico Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valdomiro Ferraz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The audience thought a goal was coming when João Adolfo de Souza got free with Santo Marcos in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 55th minute Dino Nicolini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Santo Marcos managed to avoid a goal in the 98thth minute, when Montalcino SE's Modesto Atarratze fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC VERDE-AMARELO PORCO were victorious despite being under pressure from Montalcino SE for much of the match.
