The audience was convinced that Octavian Gherasescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Claude was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. The supporters of Potrerillo Azuleño booed when Sporting Royal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Matos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Potrerillo Azuleño's Aurelio Claude played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabin Teodorescu in the 11th minute of play. After some careless play in the Potrerillo Azuleño defense, Sabin Teodorescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Claude. The Potrerillo Azuleño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Claude should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute Nildo Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute, Sabin Teodorescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Royal fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Aurelio Claude showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Dudu, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Rony Dudu scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Claude, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aurelio Claude came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Royal's Federico Moura. But to his dismay, Federico Moura quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rony Dudu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sporting Royal's Federico Moura got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Claude made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Teodorescu in the 53rd minute. The referee gave Sporting Royal a penalty, 55 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Diego Esteves, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Potrerillo Azuleño's Aurelio Claude. 0-6. After some careless play in the Potrerillo Azuleño defense, Federico Moura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Claude. The Potrerillo Azuleño fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Claude should have stopped the shot. Rony Dudu in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Aurelio Claude, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Federico Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelio Claude having to interfere. When Sabin Teodorescu came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Sporting Royal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sabin Teodorescu couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute Rony Dudu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sporting Royal's Rony Dudu got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Octavian Gherasescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rony Dudu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurelio Claude. That made the score 0-10 in the 87 minute of play. Rony Dudu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelio Claude having to make a save. Aurelio Claude had great luck who in the 97thth minute grab hold of the ball when Rony Dudu from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. The Potrerillo Azuleño fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sporting Royal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
