In the 11th minute Nistor Popilean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bodo Amat took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Zeledon Quintin. Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 20th minute Zulkarnaen Mandaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Quintin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Zulkarnaen Mandaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Quintin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mekki Item showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Gustau, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Gustau in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mekki Item saved Bandung Tigers from getting behind. Zulkarnaen Mandaga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Bandung Tigers's Zulkarnaen Mandaga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeledon Quintin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Bandung Tigers booed when Linea 174 Ramal Castillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Donato Gustau didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 37th minute of play forced Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's goalkeeper Zeledon Quintin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 39th minute Bandung Tigers were awarded a corner. Bodo Amat went to the cornerflag to take it. Nistor Popilean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Quintin having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Zulkarnaen Mandaga put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Zeledon Quintin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeledon Quintin saved Linea 174 Ramal Castillo from getting behind. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Linea 174 Ramal Castillo's goalkeeper Zeledon Quintin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zulkarnaen Mandaga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zeledon Quintin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Zulkarnaen Mandaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Zeledon Quintin made a huge save. Zeledon Quintin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zulkarnaen Mandaga in the 86th minute. Bandung Tigers made a substitution. Fachri Puang replaced Nistor Popilean. Bodo Amat struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Zeledon Quintin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bandung Tigers. The Bandung Tigers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bandung Tigers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
