In the 34th minute, Fabian Zacharzewski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd minute Bruno Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Karanowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Fonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Korneliusz Karanowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The Pork Eating Crusader players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Club Ibiza were winning 1-3.

The Pork Eating Crusader fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Korneliusz Karanowski should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Ibiza eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
