In the 10th minute, Zhang Yin Si got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fausto da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abner Rubinstein, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With his leg Azazyahu Eckstein managed to avoid a goal in the 15thth minute, when AFC - Curitiba's Rey Pelé fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 17 minutes into the match, AFC - Curitiba's goal looked a bit too open when Abner Rubinstein came free, but Fausto da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to MEME FC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Yoshafat Nefrin hit a great ball. With a little luck, MEME FC's Azazyahu Eckstein got control of the ball when Rey Pelé tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zhang Yin Si kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Azazyahu Eckstein. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Branco in the 40th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

AFC - Curitiba made a substitution. Romário Ortiz replaced Zhang Yin Si. The wind increased when Rey Pelé made the kick off in the second half. Azazyahu Eckstein took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rey Pelé, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Azazyahu Eckstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rey Pelé in the 56th minute of play. AFC - Curitiba's Fausto da Rocha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save AFC - Curitiba from getting a goal against them. Segundo Senin kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Romário Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azazyahu Eckstein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yoshafat Nefrin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Fausto da Rocha made a huge save. AFC - Curitiba made a substitution. Jan Bykowski replaced Rey Pelé. Marcel Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Bykowski in the 75th minute of play forced MEME FC's goalkeeper Azazyahu Eckstein to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, August Wahlnäs made a precise shot to the right of Azazyahu Eckstein. MEME FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Jan Bykowski took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Azazyahu Eckstein. Azazyahu Eckstein dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Jan Bykowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Romário Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Azazyahu Eckstein was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 96th minute, August Wahlnäs made a precise shot to the right of Azazyahu Eckstein. MEME FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the MEME FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AFC - Curitiba.
