Oktay Derelioğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Walery Kiszkiel made a huge save. In the 31st minute, Oktay Derelioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Alfred Podolski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dikili Sahil Spor's Sabri Dino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Dikili Sahil Spor from getting a goal against them. Sabri Dino made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomáš Ikalewicz in the 78th minute.
