Luís Guilherme Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Perivaldo Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Zhuo Chao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Furtado in the 12th minute of play. Zhuo Chao came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by União Sport Clube Paredes's Jerónimo Furtado. But to his dismay, Jerónimo Furtado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Velin Golubarev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edwin van der Sar having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Roman Quilo came free, but Zhuo Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhuo Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Quilo in the 25th minute of the match. Edwin van der Sar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vidmantas Ubartas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zhuo Chao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Santana in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s zone, Jerónimo Furtado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zhuo Chao came out of the goal and Jerónimo Furtado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 47 minutes of play, União Sport Clube Paredes's Roman Quilo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zhuo Chao was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Velin Golubarev was the one to do the kick off. Alexandre Santana came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zhuo Chao could save by the left post. União Sport Clube Paredes:s Edwin van der Sar showed great skill when he stopped Vidmantas Ubartas:s penalty. A collision led to Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Luiz Capixaba hit a great ball. Zhuo Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerónimo Furtado in the 62nd minute of the match. Vidmantas Ubartas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Carlos Vaz in the 79th minute of play forced União Sport Clube Paredes's goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Vítor Branco to maneuver through the defense. Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Zhuo Chao proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ- from getting a goal against them. When Luiz Capixaba fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s protests and gave Luiz Capixaba a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-'s Luiz Capixaba got a free kick in the 97th minute. When the final whistle sounded União Sport Clube Paredes left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Magic Canhotas FC -DMZ-.
