An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorius Mouning in the 17th minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Dahlberg in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Harold Hjelton saved AC Farsaebarca from getting behind. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Daniel Şimandan got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bartolomé Perpiñán sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Daniel Şimandan sped through AC Farsaebarca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Harold Hjelton. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Daniel Şimandan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The audience was convinced that Mads Glastrup's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yanick Knecht was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Piet Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jonas Dahlberg made the kick off in the second half. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Olimpiu Blidaru was substituted for Eber Ludueña. Elias Steinmejer might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yanick Knecht. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Steinmejer ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th match minute, AC Farsaebarca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Bohmann to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the LIVIUS UNITED MLS defense, Elias Steinmejer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yanick Knecht. The LIVIUS UNITED MLS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yanick Knecht should have stopped the shot.
