Moisés Nóbrega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivar Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jeremie Van Nel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 10th minute. In the 13th minute, Octavio Nueva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gremio Viana's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. After 28 played minutes C.F Intercity got a freekick which was hit by Aarón Campos. After 30 minutes, Miguel Sobrino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.F Intercity and the Gremio Viana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, C.F Intercity's Miguel Sobrino got a free kick in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goal looked a bit too open when Şimşek Miran came free, but Moisés Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. C.F Intercity's Jeremie Van Nel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Domingos Lencastre in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olivar Ribeiro in the 58th minute of play forced Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Moisés Nóbrega to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Gremio Viana's goalkeeper Moisés Nóbrega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Şimşek Miran. In the 72nd minute, Domingos Lencastre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremie Van Nel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Joaquim Paredes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremie Van Nel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Moisés Nóbrega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute Sílvio Luís Faria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremie Van Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Stamp's late challenge caught a Gremio Viana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brandon Stamp helped the player get up and apologised. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
