ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Wilfried Spaniol scored to the left of an out of position Fernán Moyano, making the score, 1-0. Wilfried Spaniol charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfried Spaniol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ booed when Galo na Veia FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfried Spaniol didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernán Moyano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maciej Żurawski, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute Galo na Veia FC™ were awarded a corner. Umberto Moreno went to the cornerflag to take it. If Irmantas Tamošauskas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ömer Ali blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horácio Donato having to make a save. Horácio Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömer Ali in the 28th minute of play. Celsinho Capixaba hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Galo na Veia FC™ defense, Ömer Ali kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Horácio Donato. The Galo na Veia FC™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Horácio Donato should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joélson Tasso during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 34 played minutes Galo na Veia FC™ got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Tasso. Ömer Ali blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Horácio Donato having to make a save. When Maciej Żurawski came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Galo na Veia FC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Żurawski couldn't finish the play. After the first half ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Ömer Ali made the kick off in the second half. Horácio Donato made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Ömer Ali sent off a good shot on target. Fernán Moyano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfried Spaniol in the 55th minute of the match. Horácio Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömer Ali in the 61st minute. Ömer Ali recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ⓅⓀⓇ Unión San Felipe ★★★★ made a substitution. Severino Mac Rae replaced Estevan Vives. In the 83rd minute, Emre Wölfle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horácio Donato was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Emre Wölfle might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Horácio Donato. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Emre Wölfle ran back to his position shaking his head. Horácio Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emre Wölfle in the 88th minute of play.
