Real Salsa F.C.'s Ximenes Oñatibia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abelardo Janpier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Real Salsa F.C.'s attentive Behlül Akaydın managed to snatch the ball when Ruben Eate made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Abelardo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancar Yağınalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Fausto Agüero quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Behlül Akaydın, made in the 18th minute of the game. Todd Gronow could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Greger Fribäck made a huge save. Greger Fribäck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enzo Cope in the 24th minute. Abelardo Janpier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sancar Yağınalp went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Todd Gronow's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greger Fribäck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After 34 minutes of play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Greger Fribäck was left in no man's land by his defense there! 41 minutes into the match, Todd Gronow dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Greger Fribäck, 2-1. Abelardo Janpier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sancar Yağınalp in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Todd Gronow to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Natalio Txeru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Abelardo Janpier saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 56th minute Todd Gronow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Fribäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fausto Agüero in the 58th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Salsa F.C.'s goalie and right to Zula Turek. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Salsa F.C.'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 61 played minutes Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Cope. In the 62nd minute Natalio Txeru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Todd Gronow nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Greger Fribäck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Abelardo Janpier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Txeru, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Todd Gronow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Greger Fribäck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC had won after a very even match.
