In the 5th minute Genaro Cambiasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mero Portero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Perfecto Orgaz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anibal Cambiasso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Soyuncu Carron in the 12th minute of play forced BAIRES's goalkeeper Anibal Cambiasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the BAIRES defense, Soyuncu Carron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anibal Cambiasso. The BAIRES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anibal Cambiasso should have stopped the shot. In the 18th minute Madaleno Quevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mero Portero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Cambiasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Mero Portero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Opilano in the 20th minute of the match. If Perfecto Orgaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Madaleno Quevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anibal Cambiasso having to make a save. Anibal Cambiasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Madaleno Quevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Sebastian Cambiasso's late challenge caught a POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sebastian Cambiasso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, BAIRES's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonzo Donis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 33rd minute Ubaldo Cambiasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mero Portero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Bernardo Opilano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, BAIRES's goalkeeper Anibal Cambiasso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Madaleno Quevedo. Madaleno Quevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Joaquin Cambiasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ubaldo Cambiasso was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Madaleno Quevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 52 minutes into the match, BAIRES's goal looked a bit too open when Madaleno Quevedo came free, but Anibal Cambiasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 54th minute Madaleno Quevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, BAIRES's goal looked a bit too open when Madaleno Quevedo came free, but Anibal Cambiasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With 63 minutes on the clock, Severiano Redondas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of BAIRES booed when POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Redondas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perfecto Orgaz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Anibal Cambiasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol made a substitution. Venceslas Casiano replaced Gonzo Donis. Bernardo Opilano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Šale Caro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Cambiasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Šale Caro struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Anibal Cambiasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol. Mero Portero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Opilano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Šale Caro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anibal Cambiasso. BAIRES's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Šale Caro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. When Sebastian Cambiasso was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 86th minute, Sebastian Cambiasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88th minute, Šale Caro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Šale Caro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Šale Caro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Šale Caro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juanjo Carreño missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 96 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Anibal Cambiasso right hand side. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
