Nicu Vornicu started the match with the kick off. Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Walczak in the 6th minute of the match. Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanislaw Walczak, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Vornicu in the 8th minute of play forced Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute Stanislaw Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Svante Malmström hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Veloso in the 15th minute of the match. FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şota Arveladze in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st minute, one of FC Acatar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Acatar. FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Walczak in the 24th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Stanislaw Walczak made a precise shot to the right of Ekhemos Kezdoglou. FC Acatar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Vornicu in the 31st minute of play forced Olympique Gdynia's goalkeeper Tanek Ostrowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Svante Malmström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Acatar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olympique Gdynia the free kick. After 33 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Svante Malmström. In the 34th minute Stanislaw Walczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislaw Walczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Stanislaw Walczak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Olympique Gdynia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abelardo Veloso in the 44th minute. After taking down the ball on Olympique Gdynia's corner Abelardo Veloso fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ekhemos Kezdoglou quite easily take care of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stanislaw Walczak in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ekhemos Kezdoglou saved FC Acatar from getting behind. FC Acatar's Ekhemos Kezdoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stanislaw Walczak in the 61st minute of play. Ekhemos Kezdoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanislaw Walczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olympique Gdynia's Jurand Frankowski got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şota Arveladze got free with Ekhemos Kezdoglou in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 minutes FC Acatar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Abelardo Veloso who took care of the corner kick. Tirso Isasaga was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Stanislaw Walczak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ekhemos Kezdoglou read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Acatar's Gigel Durbac got a free kick in the 75th minute. After some careless play in the FC Acatar defense, Stanislaw Walczak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ekhemos Kezdoglou. The FC Acatar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ekhemos Kezdoglou should have stopped the shot. After 89 minutes, Nicu Vornicu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Acatar and the Olympique Gdynia players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes FC Acatar got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Vornicu. Ekhemos Kezdoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanislaw Walczak in the 91st minute of the match. When Nicu Vornicu came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Acatar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Vornicu couldn't finish the play. 96 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's goalkeeper Ekhemos Kezdoglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jurand Frankowski. The Olympique Gdynia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
