ADM Taquaras's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliver Bierhoff was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christer Olsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 47th minute, Oliver Bierhoff made a precise shot to the right of Christer Olsson. Annedal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliver Bierhoff to strike the kick off in the second half. Jeremias Moreno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Bladi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th match minute, ADM Taquaras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Luis Bladi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jeremias Moreno having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Bierhoff got free with Christer Olsson in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to ADM Taquaras getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Edgard de Lima hit a great ball. Christer Olsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oliver Bierhoff, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 68 minutes of play, ADM Taquaras's Oliver Bierhoff made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christer Olsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Oliver Bierhoff struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Christer Olsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ADM Taquaras. In the 77th minute of the match ADM Taquaras got a corner. Annedal FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Malcolm Westerberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. Christer Olsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Áron Bódog in the 79th minute. ADM Taquaras's Jeremias Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Bladi in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Luis Bladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Moreno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute Annedal FC were awarded a corner. Luis Bladi went to the cornerflag to take it. 89 minutes into the match, Annedal FC's goalkeeper Christer Olsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Aparecido. Áron Bódog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the match, ADM Taquaras's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Bladi came free, but Jeremias Moreno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Annedal FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ADM Taquaras were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
