With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedito Trigo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Serafim Barros ran over to the corner to take the kick. With a little luck, Genk's Jannes Van Leempoel got control of the ball when Serafim Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. After taking down the ball on Genk's corner Alexander Klemensson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benedito Trigo quite easily take care of the ball. Rupert Dearden lost his temper 45 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sagarana Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! Sagarana Clube:s Benedito Trigo showed great skill when he stopped Alfons Rijniers:s penalty.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafim Barros to strike the kick off in the second half. Serafim Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Jannes Van Leempoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Sagarana Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 56thth minute of the game Vergil Rupov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagarana Clube's Benedito Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Rain De Hond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benedito Trigo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 66th minute, Vergil Rupov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Genk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Klemensson to maneuver through the defense. Benedito Trigo made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Rain De Hond sent off a good shot on target. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Benedito Trigo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
