An unexpectedly hard shot by Deilmison van Basten in the 13th minute of play forced Moose Knuckles's goalkeeper Li Lin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Li Lin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jedrzej Beninda, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 27th minute, Sonic Ball hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Moose Knuckles's goal looked a bit too open when Feng Ting Chong came free, but Li Lin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moose Knuckles's Li Lin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feng Ting Chong in the 38th minute of play. Sonic Ball recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Li Lin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robin van Persie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 49th minute ATHLETICO PRaiano were awarded a corner. Robin van Persie went to the cornerflag to take it.

The wind increased when Deilmison van Basten made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sonic Ball in the 66th minute of play forced ATHLETICO PRaiano's goalkeeper Rodriguinho Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Deilmison van Basten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Li Lin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th match minute, Moose Knuckles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Jandryca to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Rodriguinho Sousa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ATHLETICO PRaiano's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
