After 4 played minutes Fabiofs got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Trigo. In the 7th minute İbrahim Ethem Reşit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Arın Ferhat Avcıoğlu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fabiofs's Rodriguinho Schmidt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. If Kléber Guimarães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Kléber Guimarães ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Haldun Birtan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Ramón Fantini had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Giuseppe Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gökalp Behram, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Haldun Birtan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramón Fantini went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Haldun Birtan made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Kléber Guimarães sent off a good shot on target. After 42 played minutes Fabiofs got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Trigo. Giuseppe Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşır Berkkan in the 44th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Kléber Guimarães made the kick off in the second half. 66 minutes into the game, Ramón Fantini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Haldun Birtan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramón Fantini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Haldun Birtan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Cafu Borges had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Zekeriya Ocakoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AYYILDIZ's protests and gave Zekeriya Ocakoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Fabiofs made a substitution. José Furtado replaced Cafu Borges. After 73 played minutes AYYILDIZ got a freekick which was hit by Zekeriya Ocakoğlu. After a rather tough play, AYYILDIZ's İbrahim Ethem Reşit got a free kick in the 74th minute. Pedro Paulo Arce's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haldun Birtan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes AYYILDIZ got a freekick which was hit by Zekeriya Ocakoğlu. AYYILDIZ's Haldun Birtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Fantini in the 80th minute of play. In the 83rd minute, Noel Proença left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fabiofs fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Haldun Birtan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Proença in the 86th minute of play. AYYILDIZ's Haldun Birtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Guimarães in the 89th minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Fabiofs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodriguinho Schmidt to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fabiofs fully deserved thier win.
