The Coelho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Coelho FC's Arthur Simões slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ivar Brodin. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. If Arthur Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ivar Brodin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Vivaldo Barral showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Hagfors's zone, Arthur Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivar Brodin came out of the goal and Arthur Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tage Lundhberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Romário Vianna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Hagfors's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luís Guilherme Vale fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Vivaldo Barral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Ivar Brodin made a huge save. The throw-in from Tom Coelho in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hagfors's Kjell Dahlgren. The audience was convinced that Tage Lundhberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romário Vianna was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 31 minutes into the game, when José Augusto Alagoano put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Hagfors booed when Coelho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Augusto Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kjell Dahlgren in the 34th minute of play forced Coelho FC's goalkeeper Romário Vianna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Hagfors defense, Vivaldo Barral kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivar Brodin. The Hagfors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivar Brodin should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Hagfors's Ivar Brodin got control of the ball when Luís Guilherme Vale tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Göran Stålberg fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hagfors's protests and gave Göran Stålberg a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Hagfors getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Göran Stålberg hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vivaldo Barral to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Tom Coelho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ivar Brodin. Hagfors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tom Coelho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 55th minute Vivaldo Barral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivar Brodin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the game, Coelho FC's Vivaldo Barral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivar Brodin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 62 minutes into the match, Hagfors's goal looked a bit too open when Vivaldo Barral came free, but Ivar Brodin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Coelho FC's Vivaldo Barral in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hagfors's goalie prevented a goal. In the 72nd minute, Luís Guilherme Vale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivar Brodin was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After 77 minutes, Vivaldo Barral made it 8-0 with a short kick to the right side. Hagfors's Ivar Brodin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 80 minutes into the game, Ivan Nordal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hagfors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coelho FC the free kick. Ivan Nordal hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Olívio Lara took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ivar Brodin. Hagfors's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ivar Brodin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Guilherme Vale in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Vivaldo Barral made a precise shot to the right of Ivar Brodin. Hagfors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0.
