Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Atlanta the free kick. Fabián Canobbio kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Guillermo Nesto during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando Carrasqueira hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Teodosio Baul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Guimarães having to interfere. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Real de Carmelo 2021 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Madeo Elvira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Silvano Rudolfo came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the C. A. Atlanta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Rudolfo couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's goalkeeper Thiago Cardozo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães got control of the ball when Teodosio Baul tried to sneak it across the goal line. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Thiago Cardozo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Frasquito in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Hipolito Frasquito made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Thiago Cardozo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 31st minute Fernando Carrasqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Cardozo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães got control of the ball when Teodosio Baul tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Chus Campon. But to his dismay, Chus Campon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Real de Carmelo 2021 FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Larry Estoyanoff hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When Silvano Rudolfo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. Silvano Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Guillermo Nesto got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Octavio Blanco. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Carrasqueira got free with Thiago Cardozo in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Cardozo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fernando Carrasqueira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 60 minute of play. With a little luck, Real de Carmelo 2021 FC's Thiago Cardozo got control of the ball when Fernando Carrasqueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Eliseo Sasoin got a free kick in the 66th minute. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chus Campon in the 69th minute of play. Fernando Carrasqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Teodosio Baul stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal and Teodosio Baul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Carrasqueira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Cardozo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Larry Estoyanoff kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Baul in the 85th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Cardozo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Blanco in the 96th minute of play.
