In the 15th minute, Hubert Holub hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 19 minutes, Felice Fantozzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Roma and the FC rossoneri SENICA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to AC Roma getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Felice Fantozzi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, FC rossoneri SENICA's Matúš Striež sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlo Cirone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlo Cirone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Štefan Kadlec, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Vojtech Krasňanský fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlo Cirone having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matúš Striež was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of FC rossoneri SENICA booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Barresi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matúš Striež received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Carlo Cirone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Vojtech Krasňanský managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC rossoneri SENICA's supporters rose to their feet, but Vojtech Krasňanský was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlo Cirone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 73 minutes into the game, Felice Fantozzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Ladislav Telepovský was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Felice Fantozzi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. In the 80th match minute, AC Roma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felice Fantozzi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 81st minute by Matúš Striež got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Carlo Cirone made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Ľubomír Lazár sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to AC Roma getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ľubomír Lazár blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlo Cirone having to make a save. For all the effort they put into the match, the FC rossoneri SENICA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC Roma.
