Black Rose 1979's Patricio Fillol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sílvio Saldanha got free with Patricio Fillol in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 17 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Saldanha came free, but Patricio Fillol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oswaldo Vasconcelos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of D.J. Gol's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When D.J. Gol came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Black Rose 1979 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that D.J. Gol couldn't finish the play. In the 37th match minute, Black Rose 1979 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Éder Neto to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo-Nicolás Pérez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Enzo-Nicolás Pérez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Oswaldo Vasconcelos. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enzo-Nicolás Pérez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Salvador Gaitan took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oswaldo Vasconcelos. Oswaldo Vasconcelos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After the first half Black Rose 1979 were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. D.J. Gol was the one to do the kick off. When Salvador Gaitan got free in front of the goal in the 53rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Oswaldo Vasconcelos was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Patricio Fillol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Black Rose 1979's Enzo-Nicolás Pérez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oswaldo Vasconcelos. That made the score 0-5 after 58 minutes of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers D.J. Gol in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oswaldo Vasconcelos saved Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ from getting behind. Oswaldo Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enzo-Nicolás Pérez in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo-Nicolás Pérez in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oswaldo Vasconcelos saved Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ from getting behind. Enzo-Nicolás Pérez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Vasconcelos having to interfere. Oswaldo Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enzo-Nicolás Pérez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ defense, Enzo-Nicolás Pérez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oswaldo Vasconcelos. The Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oswaldo Vasconcelos should have stopped the shot. Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Enzo-Nicolás Pérez 83 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by D.J. Gol in the 86th minute of play forced Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Oswaldo Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oswaldo Vasconcelos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Gaitan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 played minutes Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Santos. Hernan Florin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match was over Black Rose 1979 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ throughout the match.
