The referee ignored Jumentus Rock Club's protests and gave Luiz Eduardo Gomes a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Luiz Eduardo Gomes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Enio Meirelles in the 51st minute of play forced Yeşilköyspor's goalkeeper Kılıç İley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kılıç İley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor de Souza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Enio Meirelles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç İley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yeşilköyspor's Kılıç İley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Goiano in the 78th minute of play. Baran Bilge Demircioğlu lost his temper 80 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
