Justino Abaurre started the match with the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Justino Abaurre kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sven Jellingdal. That made the score 2-0 in the 10 minute of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Justino Abaurre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Loco De Remate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Abaurre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute Justino Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Jellingdal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Justino Abaurre put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sven Jellingdal. Justino Abaurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Jellingdal made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Aureliano Lekubegi sent off a good shot on target. When Karsten Kastager fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esbjerg fB's protests and gave Karsten Kastager a yellow card for diving instead. After 25 played minutes Esbjerg fB got a freekick which was hit by Karsten Kastager. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Abaurre in the 27th minute of play forced Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper Sven Jellingdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven Jellingdal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Abaurre in the 28th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thorkil Dyssen to make the kick off. Egil Holmelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Denis Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 57 minutes of play, Loco De Remate's Justino Abaurre made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven Jellingdal was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 59th minute, Justino Abaurre made a precise shot to the right of Sven Jellingdal. Esbjerg fB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Sven Jellingdal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justino Abaurre, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 64 minutes into the match, Justino Abaurre notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Esbjerg fB's Sven Jellingdal. Sven Jellingdal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 70 minutes into the match, Esbjerg fB's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Abaurre came free, but Sven Jellingdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sven Jellingdal didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aureliano Lekubegi went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Thorkil Dyssen kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Esbjerg fB defense, Justino Abaurre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven Jellingdal. The Esbjerg fB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven Jellingdal should have stopped the shot. Sven Jellingdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Abaurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Loco De Remate were the better team. Loco De Remate's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
