The audience was convinced that Gunter Aebli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago Gabriel Cabral was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Dorian Neto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Gilberto Pauli made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gunter Aebli in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Gabriel Cabral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Vitório Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gilberto Pauli was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Vitório Pimenta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Gilberto Pauli made a huge save. Lauro Sarmento kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute Lauro Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Pauli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Gunter Aebli got free with Tiago Gabriel Cabral in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ARAPONGAS's Gaetano Uliassi was substituted for Pirmin Schyder. After a rather tough play, ARAPONGAS's Tibor Brandt got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ignaz Clementia's late challenge caught a Vae Victis!!'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ignaz Clementia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd minute, Ignaz Clementia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Vae Victis!!'s Ezequiel Hermes got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vae Victis!! had won after a very even match.
