In the 16th minute Mai Hong Zhen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Béla Simon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Edelényi Bányász's goal looked a bit too open when Mai Hong Zhen came free, but Béla Simon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Edelényi Bányász defense, Mai Hong Zhen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Béla Simon. The Edelényi Bányász fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Béla Simon should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s goalkeeper Filippo Cappucci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Márton Baló. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mai Hong Zhen in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Béla Simon saved Edelényi Bányász from getting behind. 23 minutes into the game, ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Mai Hong Zhen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Béla Simon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 25 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Infante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edelényi Bányász the free kick. The supporters of Edelényi Bányász booed when ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Infante didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Mai Hong Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the game, one of Edelényi Bányász:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Béla Simon came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s Mai Hong Zhen. But to his dismay, Mai Hong Zhen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Mai Hong Zhen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Béla Simon having to make a save. Mai Hong Zhen might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Béla Simon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mai Hong Zhen ran back to his position shaking his head. Béla Simon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Hong Zhen in the 41st minute of play. Mai Hong Zhen charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mai Hong Zhen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Béla Simon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Hong Zhen, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After a defensive mix-up in Edelényi Bányász's zone, Mai Hong Zhen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Béla Simon came out of the goal and Mai Hong Zhen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute of the match ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ got a corner. Edelényi Bányász's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mai Hong Zhen ran over to the corner to take the kick. 57 minutes into the game, Maximiliano Chorche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Edelényi Bányász the free kick. In the 65th minute of the game Örs Markó made a throw-in which Márk Kuti played forward. When Mai Hong Zhen came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mai Hong Zhen couldn't finish the play. Mai Hong Zhen took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Béla Simon. Béla Simon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 73rd match minute, Edelényi Bányász was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siniša Mihajlović to maneuver through the defense. Lajos Murai's late challenge caught a ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lajos Murai helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Edelényi Bányász's Béla Simon got control of the ball when Mai Hong Zhen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ramon Fresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ≡≡ SOMOS ARGENTINA ≡≡'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
