Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ettore Amadei to make the kick off. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Francesco Romino hit a great ball. Ettore Amadei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Gau having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Mainumby's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinando Chiavetta came free, but Santiago Gau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Francisco Dominic fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mainumby's protests and gave Francisco Dominic a yellow card for diving instead. Aurelio Gava struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Santiago Gau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lunatics of Arianrhod. 88 minutes into the game, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Ferdinando Chiavetta nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santiago Gau made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. 93 minutes into the match, Francesco Romino notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Mainumby's Santiago Gau. Santiago Gau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mainumby's Santiago Gau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Amadei in the 97th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Lunatics of Arianrhod had played much better football throughout.
