Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Ted Boshuis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciro Buccella in the 5th minute of play forced Gunnah FC's goalkeeper Pär Backman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 played minutes Gunnah FC got a freekick which was hit by Joélson Sabóia. With a little luck, Gunnah FC's Pär Backman got control of the ball when Diego Salvagnin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Salvagnin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Pär Backman skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 21 minutes into the match, Ciro Buccella dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pär Backman, 1-1. 25 minutes into the game, Edoardo Pantani recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Pär Backman. Edoardo Pantani showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Pär Backman was a little too slow when Francesco Cirelli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 3-1. 36 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Rolado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Dave Bassani was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Aversa booed when Gunnah FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Ove Ros didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 minutes of play, Aversa's Ciro Buccella made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pär Backman was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Gunnah FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Emanuel Hård hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Gunnah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edoardo Pantani came free, but Pär Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ciro Buccella to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 51 minutes, the score became 5-2 when Edoardo Pantani sped through Gunnah FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pär Backman. In the 54th minute Achille Mastrocola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Diego Salvagnin put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Pär Backman. Pär Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Buccella, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes, Ciro Buccella made it 7-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gunnah FC's Pär Backman tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diego Salvagnin in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pär Backman saved Gunnah FC from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Edoardo Pantani made a precise shot to the right of Pär Backman. Gunnah FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-2. Joélson Sabóia kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Pär Backman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Apolloni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pär Backman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amos Zaccardi in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Gunnah FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Salvagnin came free, but Pär Backman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Aversa getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Achille Mastrocola hit a great ball. Ted Boshuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Diego Salvagnin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute Edoardo Pantani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pär Backman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amos Zaccardi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Gunnah FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Aversa.
